Sound skipping in 1.01 asf file

Postby anonilir » 11 Aug 2009 01:46

First off thanks for the great media player.

I just had a question about an issue I'm having with an asf file. The sound skips every 5-10 seconds or so. Also it shows that its getting lost buffers in the statistics for sound.

For video its using
Codec:MP43

The audio says
Codec:wma2
Channels: stereo
Sample rate: 22050 Hz
Bits per sample: 16

The file seems to play fine in some other programs. If anyone has an ideas to help me fix this I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

Could you provide a sample file that shows this issue?

Have you got power saving enabled?
I have found that audio skips with GIGABYTE Dynamic Energy Saver enabled.
try turning power saving off.
