1.0.1 windows 7 no flv ?

1.0.1 version of vlc can't seem to playing flv files on windows 7 :(
i didn't try any other formats just moved down to 1.0.0 and works great :)

1.0.1 plays FLV fine on XP

There shouldn't be format support differences between Windows versions. Video output quality can vary.

Could you provide log messages when you try to open FLV in Windows 7? (Tools -> Messages... and set Verbosity to 2)

same problem here.
avi, wmv etc. works fine.

but any kind of flv just dont work on double click or right click open with in explorer. (just nothing happens)
i found a workaround in open the vlc player manually and load the media file into.
after loading the file manually, movie began to play ;-)

You file association is then messed up (if double clicking doesn't work).

i resettet the file association manually , same prob.
after that i deleted the association and set it to media player, changed then back to vlc. still not loadin.
other files workin fine!

Could you compare you registry keys for .flv and e.g. .avi?
