Vista Home Premium 64 bit

checking , this is so primal to most of you but I've learned the hard way that Home Premium is so proprietary that I've been unable to use many of my software programs even in the compatibility mode so I need to know if this program will run on the 64 bit Vista. I hope you can help. TIA need2know
