Hi I use VLC to play non-native region DVDs but most recently in version 1.0.0 DVDs, even native region ones, on both xp and vista the picture is scrambled.
Is there any way of fixing this, or will the next version of VLC fix this when it is released?

sorry I'm not sure what the windows cmd commands would be.
it is working now on both systems, I just checked, so I'm thinking all that was required was a cold boot or restart but it was strange that both computers had the same problem at the same time, I don't have any non-native region dvds on me at the moment but native ones appear to be working just fine.

Sorry for the confusion I thought I have vlc 1.0.0 but it was a couple of versions back.
