I have got a .m3u playlist with some .mkv files. when one of the files ends, the media player crashes and I can't switch to the next or previous file.
anyone got an idea?

So if you open MKV file independently it doesn't cause a crash?

No, only if I open a playlist and one track ends. All commands are being accepted excepting "Next/Previous Track" and "Play,Pause"...
I can open the preferences, open a new medium but the screen does not change at all!

I even reinstalled my OS and it still does not work. But this problem only occurs with .mkv files.

Thanks, that's just my problem but can it be fixed or do I have to wait for a new version?

Well I didn't really solve the problem now but I got half of a solution. My VLC only crashes at the very end of every file so I just forward it seconds before it ends
Of course I still wouldn't say no to a real solution

My solution; Maybe it´s why its crash now very well is just because im OC´d E7400 a little bit (2,8->4,1 and going upper, i don´t care temps anymore because my voltage modded Ati 3850 goes somewhere 90+ playing xD ati´s has TWO coolers overlap and set 100%...
Real solution for now: I just start playing some song and then load crashing playlist and it´s start like a nothing happened ever.
Edit: Itself playlist if its on (showing playilist) its crash like a normal, must open some song without seeing playlist (and no mixing list) then its open normal.

Hello,
Where did you get the names of the options beeing available for the xspf-playlist? I would like to set up a playlist with videos that have individual settings for cropping and aspect ratio. Do you knw if/how that works?
Thank you,
Michael
