Stream recording loses audio

With VLC.1.0, when watching a stream from YouTube or Google Video, the record button will produce a recording of the video, but without audio. The settings for Capture Device are Direct Show and Default for both audio and video.

Recording portions of AVI files from my discs works fine, though.

Any ideas?

Yes, VLC 1.0.1 and 1.1.0 will fix this known issue.

Yes, VLC 1.0.1 and 1.0.0 will fix this known issue.
But this IS VLC 1.0.0. Is this a typo?

1.1.0 sorry.
Have any of the nightly builds addressed this yet? It would be good to know, so that I don't have to download every day.

I don't know if it was mentioned before, but there is a way to get around the lost audio problem in 1.0.0 - just disable the audio after the stream started (or .wmv in some cases) then reenable it again. In many lost audio incidents, do that and the audio will play as usual.
