When an ogg sound file is opened the begining of the sound is not played. Maybe 1 second.

I'm using vlc 0.9.9 under Windows XP SP3.

A sample is http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... ossiya.ogg which is correctly played by irfan view.

Known issue. You might try VLC 1.0.0 in case it works better.

I'm unable to open SWF files. The error is:

"VLC can't recognize the input's format: The format of 'C:\a.swf' cannot be detected. Have a look the log for details."

I don't know if SWF is supported.
