This is a heart felt thank you to the creators of VLC for the latest version .99
I can open a video file in my secondary monitor now without disabling the video stream then re-enabling it again.
I can click to go full screen without the video jumping to my primary monitor and having to first go to minimal mode.

This update saves me so much hassle that I am such the happy little camper now :)

So big thanks guys, you did a great job on a much awaited update.

Are you saying the video only displays on your secondary monitor? How do you do that?

Of course. In the Nvidia control panel for Multiple Displays I set my dual monitors to be individualized and not stretched or cloned.

I don't think I can set my monitors up like that. I only have the option to extend the desktop onto the second monitor, or clone it.

If you have 2 monitors you can.

What video card are you using?

Radeon 9250. It uses the ATI Catalyst Controls Centre. I think the software is limited.

I installed the latest version just the other week. I'll ask about it on the ATI forum.
