If I try to open a folder the program freezes. I can use open file to open numerous files from the same folder and there is no problem.

I first noticed this problem with vlc-0.9.6-win32.exe. The next two iterations have exhibited the same characteristic.

I am using Win XP Home sp3.

Anyone else having this problem?

Any suggestions?

Could you give more details? Like what kind of files show up the issue and how many files you try to open etc.
