unable to play .wmv files correctly with v.0.9.9

i am unable to play .wmv files correctly, that is they play too slow and also when i try to fast forward or rewind the video goes back to start, and sound problem is also there.
happening with all the .wmv files i tried so far.
but no problems when i play with km player
am using vlc v0.9.9 & running win xp sp3

dont know have v0.9.9, now, but as far as i remember i didnt had any problems with previous versions,(dont know which version was that which played wmv files correctly, as all media files are associated with vlc)

Because 0.9.9 (and latest 1.0.0 nightly builds) does have some issues with certain WMV files. I assume this is same thing. Hopefully it will be fixed before final 1.0.0 release.
