Hello.

I like very much the last.fm support at vlc-player.

But there are two things wich are a little bit bad for the last.fm community, i think so.

1.
VLC makes the timestamp with help of the Windows-Time, sometimes this is a problem i somebody fake his time or did not set his time.
Perhaps there is a time check avalible, for example here for germany: ntps1-0.cs.tu-berlin.de

2.
It would be great if VLC could has a chance to upload the infos if the song is half played.
At the moment i could go at the end of the track and let the play, play untuil the next song and this song is upped to last.fm.
I would find it great if vlc could check that the user has really listen minimum the half song.

I found this 2 points are really problems...
I was so happy if i was reading about that vlc is supporting last.fm.

I want to use vlc together with a plugin of the opensource messenger "pidgin", perhaps you know.
I want that my pidgin messenger show's my actually played song in my status.

The only way wich i found was that way:
-VLC sending the track-info to last.fm
-My Pidgin Plugin could only check last.fm (Another one could also check player directly, but this one dont work for many user's or only with players like winamp or wmp, bääää !)
-The Pidgin plugin put the song info to the status information.

The last action dont work because the timestamp semms to be wrong or to old, i think so.

PidGin ist not MSN, PidGin is using MSN.

And what is about ICQ, i want it for MSN and ICQ.
