HD Videos

For some reason whenever i open up an HD video in vlc, after a while it freezes, and unfreezes 5 sec later. It does that every 2 minutes. I even disabled the Loop Filter for all HD videos, and that only made it worse. Sometimes it even does that to normal avi files that are 170mb large. I know it's not my PC because other players work fine. Are there any other solutions?

Try 1.0.0 devel versions.

You get avcodec errors to VLC message log when those freezes happen?

No i don't get that kind of error.
