Troubles with 0.9.9 (Forwarding)

Postby UnKnOwN_86 » 05 Apr 2009 16:52

I dont have the problems since version 0.9.9 its been a while now.
Every time i want to forward (jump to a random position) in any video, vlc needs more than 10 secs to show me the video.
In those 10 seconds its like i pressed on pause for the video the last image stays frozen (sound goes on), after those 10 secs i get a kindof "preview" pic of the video, its all pixelated after another 2 secs i am finally where i want to be (just 12 seconds more further).

Its really disturbing when i just want to go threw a video as fast as possible (just a little sneak into it), todo so i just jump randomly threw the video and when i have to wait each time 12 or more secs its getting really annoying.

Hope you can help me to fix the problem.
