coverting problem FLV to MOV

Postby sbjc » 01 Apr 2009 16:18

Hey Everyone,

Im trying to convert flv files to .mov files h264 or mp4s. the vlc looks like its converting then the file appears but it is a .ps file, not a.mov or.mp4?

Anyone else had this problem? I'd really appreciate any help.

Best Regards

You have to add the file extension manually. VLC doesn't add .MP4 to filename if you select MP4 container output.

sbjc, what convertor do you use? i've never had such problems, since i use Flash to video encoder pro, as it does the job perfectly.
if manual file extension adding won't help, it may be worth simply to try another convertor :?

Good info, but I prefer use Macvide FlashVideo Converter. It's program for converting flash files to different video format and I like this simple program.Try too.
