VLC doesn't work in dualscreen mode anymore

I've tried the 0.9.8a version and the latest nightly build.

When you do not integrate the video with the player controls you can get the video in fullscreen mode on your second monitor. However, if you're using a play list - as soon as a new file starts to play the video defaults back to screen 1 again.

How the heck do I fix this - or do I have to wait for another version of VLC?

I may have a similar problem. Hopefully someone can help us both. Here is my problem:
When trying to watch a downloaded movie I can see everything on the second monitor a 25" digital TV) I have connected via VGA cable to my laptop running Vidolan EXCEPT the MOVIE. I see the video movie screen but it is BLACK on the second monitor while I can see the movie perfectly in the videolan box on the laptop. It does not make any difference if I use the reduced or the full screen mode on the laptop. Any suggestions as to how to see the movie on the second monitor too? Have a great day!
