Lag Spikes

Postby Knave545 » 25 Feb 2009 00:57

Ok, so lately whenever i open up a video, after 2 minutes i get lag spikes for a duration of 10 seconds. They keep coming like every 20 seconds... I know my PC is not the problem because my windows were freshly installed, and i just got this PC, so yeah. I use Windows Vista 64 bit, and the latest version of VLC. They are AVI files not mkv, and are only 100mb of size. Help would be appreciated.
