Issues with VLC 1.0 - bug report
Posted: 20 Feb 2009 19:28
Hi,
As I expierenced problems with two screens on latest official release of VLC, I tested VLC 1.0 from here:
http://people.videolan.org/~jb/build/vl ... -20090218/
Some problems:
- cannot close VLC (Win XP) - must use CTRL-ALT-DEL
- cannot stop video with stop button - must use pause/play button
- VLC crashes very often
- Playlist - no save is possible in playlist - only in VLC main windows (does not save the last used folder - have to go there each time manually)
- Playlist - any order I try to save is lost after save - VLC sorts all the videos again and again alphabetically
- click on VLC system tray icon shows menu, but system pop up of Windows XP "VLC media player - control menu for player" goes in front of the menu - it lasts there. So I mainly cannot use the VLC system tray menu
Maybe you can reply with a link to a new version when it is available.
