Setting capture card color settings via command line...

Postby maxxpower » 16 Feb 2009 16:38

I am using "vlc.exe dshow:// --width=950
everything is fine except the default capture color of the card is RBB24 and i need it to be RGB32.
If I manually go through the capture process and select properties its fine, but I am trying to execute via command line.

Any idea how to set these perimeters via cmd?

Hello,

would you make a test with dshow:// --dshow-chroma=RGB32 and tell us if u have the desired chroma ?

Also when u say "If I manually go through the capture process and select properties its fine" do u mean the vlc capture properties or the dhsow ones ?
[The latter are standalone pop-up panels that spit out before the actual capture starts when you have :dshow-config enabled]
