Bug using a dvd with no menu

Postby markjl » 08 Jan 2009 11:55

Hello, this is the error I get when I use a DVD burnt with no menu and let windoze xp prompt me to open with VLC. To get around this I open VLC, click open a disk and specify dvd without a menu.

Assertion failed!

Program: c:\program Files\VideonLAN\VLC\vlc.exe
File: vm.c
Line: 1742

Expression: pgcit != NULL

Regards

Mark

Are you sure the disc is correctly authorized?

When you build DVD structure from video, audio et.c files, it is called authoring.
pgcit != NULL means that the DVD structure is either incorrect or you have found a bug in VLC DVD playback engine.
