Loop from point A to point B hotkey
I've been wanting this feature in VLC, but is there a hotkey? Thanks!

Yes. A key is quicker. Alt+R in Zoom Player. Thanks.

Well a->b is only GUI, so I don't know if I can set it correctly.

It appears there is now a hot key (l) but it doesn't work. I am running version 0.9.8.a Greshinko and the loop function works from the standard GUI button but not from the hot key. No matter what hot key assignment I try nothing happens. All other hot keys appear to work fine.

Hi,
I would like to enforce the request for a hotkey for the A - B loop. It is a function that I use a lot for rehearsing music.
A hotkey would be much faster than the GUI.
At the moment the Hotkey can not be set beacuse the "Action" is absent in the Hotkey options.
I noted the "Trac opened" and would welcome this feature.

Shift+T in VLC 1.0.0, when the AtoB Loop button is showed.

I tested this out with the latest version and I cannot seem to find the hotkey for an A-B loop. I then downloaded version 1.0 of VLC to test it it and it still did not work. The ticket for this was reported as closed and fixed. Can someone respond with how to enable a hotkey for the A to B loop?

Is there a possibility to perform a loop A-B from the RC interface?
Basically I need to loop the last 10 seconds or so from a video file.
Now I do this by checking if the file has stopped playing, and then I do a seek to the right position and then I start playing again. The problem with this is that there is a rather large delay between the end of the clip and the restarting.
So a hotkey or an RC command would be really great.

It's working well.
Hotkey is Shift+L.
But firstly need to switch on advanced controls (view -> advanced controls).
