My mouse speed is changed when vlc is launched

My mouse speed is changed when I launch VLC media player! Why is VLC changing my mouse settings? I don't know any other program that does that. I use Win XP, a Logitech G5 mouse and Logitech SetPoint for my mouse settings.

And now something else, a suggestion: I'd like to see Ctrl+F4 working when in full screen.

That's all.

Now I have to restart my computer to get my mouse settings back to normal. See ya.

Does it do that with all the video output modules?

I think this has something to do how you have configured your mouse to react on fullscreen / DirectX /... -using applications.
I don't use SetPoint, but for example my mouse configuration dialog (in the control panel) offers the possibility to deactivate mouse acceleration in "Games". But this setting affects almost every application that uses graphics hardware acceleration. Therefore you could try to identify and deactivate such options in your mouse configuration.

VLC doesn't change your mouse speed. And there is already thread about this. Please, use search before posting.
