Good evening,

I just downloaded VLC, and need to convert a file I have (it's a Windows Media Audio/Video File) to MP4. I saw on the VLC's wiki site that there was a tutorial for this, but it was for the Apple Operating system. Would anyone care to explain or send me a link to a tutorial that would show me how to do this?

Thanks!

Media -> Convert/Save... and then select your WMV file, press Convert/Save, from Encapsulation select MP4, from Video codec MPEG-4, from Audio codec MPEG 4 Audio (AAC), then tick File and choose where you want to save the file and then press Save.
