mkv subs

Postby Aztek » 19 Oct 2008 11:00

i have some episodes that i'm watching, i watched the first 2 seasons and i didn't even know they had subs and i didn't care, but now in some new version of vlc it keeps selecting the first sub in the track and not some preselected thing (settings wise) there are 5 sub tracks but i just want it to be disabled. also, shouldn't the user be able to select what language subs they want if there are multiple awalible ?

and second, would it be bad to stay maximized when switching videos, or remembering aspect ratio settings between videos.

You should be able to disable subtitles permanently from Tools -> Preferences... (Show settings: All) Input / Codecs

You can cycle subtitles via hotkey v and aspect ratio via hotkey a. Video output is recreated on very new file/stream so it is a little hard to keep it.
