Issues with context menu

Hi,

I frequently open two videos at the same time and therefore I disabled the "one instance when run from file" option. However, if I do that and I want to enqueue a file on the playlist, I can't do that. Another window is opened with only one (if I selected several files) file in the playlist. This doesn't make any sense, since there's no difference anymore between "Add to playlist" and "Play".

So is there a way how I can have a new window opened when I choose "Play with VLC..." from the context menu and files enqueued when I choose "Add to VLC... Playlist"?

Thanks,
Angela

To which running VLC instance you would like to enqueue those files if you have like 5 running VLC instances?

Hi,

well, usually in such situations the computer would pick the one that was last active, I suppose. But in any case I usually don't add files to the playlist when I've got more than one window open. The typical case would be: I open the first video, I add files to the playlist of that player and then I open other videos. So that can't really be an "excuse".

Best wishes,
Angela
