I trying to build vlc as describe in help. But I have a lot of exeption in sh.exe. When I press Ok button, then building resume.
Can anybody help me with it ?

You follow what build tutorial/guide?

And you do the compile from cygwin shell? And there isn't any other stability issues with your computer?

Yes, from cygwin. No, I have not any issues.

Exceptions are throws after entering to the new directory, for example:

make[7]: Entering directory `/home/UserName/vlc-0.9.1'
cd . && /bin/sh /home/UserName/vlc-0.9.1/autotools/missing --run aclocal-1.10 -I m4

sorry, the problem was solved. I installed several versions of automake. (But only 1.1 needs)

I am experiencing the following after download vlc-0.9.6-win32.exe, removing older version and installing that file. I was trying to view a *.flv file. Here is the complete error message:

I don't have Visual Studio installed.... beyond me
