couldnt find a bug forum so if this is in wrong place some1 move it plz

try to go on standby while playing (assuming u have a laptop)
and u will have to wait more than 10 mins and obviusly ur system will never become stable after standby unless u mannually restart the laptop

maybe i am doing something wrong?? maybe its my antivirus or the fact that i have ticked the higher priority option?

Programs cannot cause standby or hibernate deads. Only bad drivers or hardware can do that.

i didnt say vlc cauzes standby

i said IF u try to go on standby (if battery goes low laptop does this automatically) while playing something with vlc system is stuck for 5 mins until u actually go standby
then it takes 5 mins for pc to go out of standby and its not stable , basically nothing works

Same with other media players?

no vlc8 and media player classic cauze no issues

what was the problem anyway overlay maybe was cauzing the issue?

Something in your display adapter drivers causes that (you better ask the reason from AMD/Nvidia/Intel/S3).
