Hi,
how can I get DVBT to work with VLC on windows?
When I select DirectShowDVB there isnt a place to select a particular adapter,
and there ae only Feequency and symbol rate, but form what I know from other DVBt apps there is a 3rd value needed, dont know how its called in englich.
Last but not least when I clise VLC after the dialog for DVB was open it crashes...

You will need to be more specific on which DVBT adapter you're using and o/s version. If you can't select your dvb-t adapter or it does not appear on the list then mostly likely it is not supported.

Windows XP
Pinacle USB dvb-t
You should first start finding the frequency of your local TV stations which involves some search on google.
Anyway can you see your adapter on the drop down menu list under DVB-T section?
I have Winfast DTV USB Dongle and it works.

And make sure your pinnacle uses BDA drivers. (if ProgDVB works with that device, then you have BDA drivers in use)

I know the frequency the bandwidth and the i think its called transponder:
like
3SAT 578000 8 11102
when I select DVB DirectShow and than DVB-T i don't get any "drop down menu list" to select a device where should this menu list be?
I used ProgDVB for some time and it worked...

Tools -> Messages... and set Verbosity to 2 and then try to open DVB device and post errors here.

VLC will automatically choose the next available adapter (useful for people who have multiple adapters) so no need to select one.
For dvb-t all you really need to specify is frequency and bandwidth.
Frequency is in kHz, bandwidth in MHz
