vlc player disappears when loading video or music

Hi, I'm using the latest version of VLC Player 0.9.2 and I found a few bugs:
When switching video to full screen mode - sometimes at the end of the video, vlc media player disappears
- and I have to reset the pc
And when I load a VLC media file (.m3u) stream, the vlc media player disappears
- and to stop the stream, I have to reboot the pc
I'm using win xp pro sp2
Cheers, Jim

You can't kill vlc.exe from task manager?

No, it doesn't appear on the task manager when vlc player disappears, it would stream the music 'till I reset the pc
- had no problems while using the previous version

I have this problem too, WinXP Pro SP2. However, I can find vlc in the process list in task manager after it disappears. Actually, I found that it leaves vlc open in the tray, but not in the window form that it was while playing.
