A problem with DTS & the vlc 0.9.2

Hi,

I have the 0.8.6 vlc & everything is ok.
I watch movies in the mkv format & they also have 5.1 DTS sound.
the problem started when I've installed the new 0.9.2 vlc.
when I watch & hear the DTS sound in the movie the center becomes the sub & vice versa.
after I changed the vlc to the older version the problem was gone.

will there be a fix to it?

Cheers.

On my system, It sounds like Center channel becomes the Subwoofer channel , the rest is also placed mostly in the center channel (front placed in center too. Back placed in both front and front channels(i think). It is hard to pinpoint without a DTS "test disk/file) since the dynamics of the 6channel audio is hard to track. But that is only a guess. I have the Soundblaster X-Fi card. (System is Intel 2.4GHz Quad Core, 4GB RAM, nVIDIA Quadro FX4600 768 MB card, 6TB Raid disks, Windows XP SP3)

(on a side note, VLC does not automatically find the right audio track on a dvd anymore. 80% of my dvd's start with the wrong audio (silent), can this get fixed? It worked fine in 0.8.6f

Thanks for the best player out there, and your work.

Ok, after a test with this file :http://www.sr.se/laddahem/MultiKanal/Dt ... 011212.zip (Swedish)

I get correct audio left front. Center comes from the subwoofer, right front is heard in center, left back is heard in right front, right back is heard in the left back. Subwoofer is heard in both center and in subwoofer (??) Hope this helps ;)

AC3 (DD) works fine btw.
