Full FIle names

Postby Namrepus221 » 18 Sep 2008 22:48

Whenever I open a file it shows up as something like:

247Leg~.mp4 or Georg~1.mp3

How do I get VLC to show the FULL file name when it's opened?

OK I tested this with another file...and it shows the full name...

No, but since I updated to 0.9.4 it's doing it again.

Could this be a problem with 0.9.4?

AFAIK it is the OS that provides those short names. Could you tell us full path and file names of non-working and working files?
