How to set default skin(with black border).Whether ther are other skins (other than original and with black border)

Whether VLC is capable of converting larg video files(say 700mb). and how to do it.

I liked VLC player very much and I must thank the team for giving such a good player free of cost.

2. Converting from to what to what? In VLC it is a matter of understanding the various formats and containers to gain a reasonable end result. There is NO pat answer here and file size is not a limitation up to the size the your operating system will allow. Keep in ming that files over 1gig in size are difficult (time consuming) to search specially if the disk drive is fragmented.

3. In general, transcoding options are available from any Open menu except Quick Open and are labeled Stream/Save.
