Seek in DVD files doesn't work with version 0.9.0

When I play a VOB file with VLC media player 0.9.0 and change the play position with the trackbar, the video freezes and only the sound seems to play from the new position.
Also the DVD menu is not displayed correctly.

I could reproduce this with the VLC media player 0.9.0 as well as with a self-made player (using a call to libvlc.dll->libvlc_media_player_set_time() .)

In the older version 0.8.6h the DVD files play without any problem.

Can someone confirm this and maybe has a solution for version 0.9.x?

Thanks!

Which 0.9.0 release you used?

Thanks for your answer.

It was the nightly build downloaded from http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win ... 80823-0005

Any suggestions?

BTW the current nightly build crashes with an access violation when starting vlc.exe.

The same here. You can add a comment to this bug report: http://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/1880
