Request for review of new VLC-0.9.0's GUI, Qt4 Interface

in time, the new VLC-0.9.0 is due to release soon.
I'd rather not say the new 0.9.0 Qt4 Interface is badly done, when it comes to usability, functionality wise.
I am asking those of you who are using VLC-0.9.0 nightly build, to comment on the new GUI, any problems or glitch by using this new interface.

In terms of user friendliness and any other aspects of this GUI.
e.g, Graphic equalizer check box remains "Ticked", when playlist jumps to next item during playback, actually the previously applied audio effects are no longer active.
Can you please comment and your thoughts on the vlc-0.9.0's new Qt4 Interface module.
