Converting VOB to MPG

Postby AzMoo » 15 Jul 2008 08:49

Hi there,

I'm trying to take excerpts from a set of VOB files and convert them to separate MPG files for each excerpt that can be played in Windows Media Player. Does anybody know what settings I'd need in the wizard to do this?

Cheers

I recommend you use tool like AVIdemux for the job. But if you want to use VLC, select MPEG-1 if you want to be sure that every Windows Media Player will play the file without additional codecs. Partial extract should work if you want just small clips.
