VLC and the Autoplay feature under XP and Vista

Postby Olexijl » 13 Jul 2008 17:33

Dear friends,

Downloaded and installed VLC 0.8.6i on Vista Ultimate (well, i have a new PC). The same behaviour (or the same problem) is under XP too, so it is not important what Windows i have.

If i want to play Audio CD, i insert a CD into the drive. I configured Vista to ask me, what should then happen, so Autoplay appears. There is an entry there for VLC, but with a wrong icon!!!! It works, and the disc can be played, but the icon is annoying.

So please fix this. The same is under XP too.
