VLC fails to play mp3 file it there is a cue file

Hi!

Using VLC 0.8.6.h on Windows 2003.

If I try to open a mp3 file in vlc, when there is a same named .cue file in the same directory, then vlc fails.

Example:

- map contains foo.mp3 and foo.cue
- if I double click foo.mp3 ( or drag it into existing VLC player) it does not play

The message window shows a lot of text, I put it at http://rafb.net/p/hTZQyG66.html.

Regards,
David

VLC thinks that you have VCD image. Does same happen with nightly builds?

Yes.

Now it just prints : vcd error: invalid entry points number

(funny, the same happened once with 0.8.6h. That is : only this line was in messages. Other time, there are hundreds of lines)

I tried vlc-0.9.0-test1-20080629-0004-win32.7z

there has been a feature request about .cue support for audio. Maybe someone could also add this issue to same ticket or add another one.
