Black screen

Hi,

When I try to watch video files, avi, mkv and so on the picture wont come up on the screen. Its just a black screen all the time. The audio is the but no video. Im not very good with computers and software, so I cant fix it by my self, I need some help! Anyone knows what to do?

Video Driver Issue.
What driver do you use ?
Go to settings >> video and select DirectX as the video output module and see if it works.

Before changing the video output modules try disabling video overlay by going to:
Settings >> Preferences... >> Video

And untick "Overlay video output". Press "Save" and try a video.
