I just want to start this thread by saying Thanx! for all the hard work you guys must put in to this app. I have been using it for quite a while. I especially love the wallpaper mode, but recently it doest work, the frame of the app appears and the vid is in wallpaper mode but only within the frame of the player so that if i drag it around i can see the video. I know i am not describing it well but it seems as if my wallpaper setting is overriding the vlc app.
My sys:
Athlon X2 3800+
3Gb RAM
EVGA 8800GT SSC
Win XP SP3
Thanx for any info, i assume its a win setting i cant find or diagnose.
Other than that this player destroys all others.

I dont think so, I had the same problem before but it just seemed to figure itself out. This time it wont, not sure, i was hoping someone would say click a certain setting and id be on my way. Its like my desktop wallpaper wont allow itself to be covered unless i fullscreen the vid. just wont wallpaper

did you first disable windows wallpaper ?

OK I just got it to work, I had my desktop icons turned off, once i turned them on it worked great again. I figured it something on my end. This app rules, thanx again. Sorry for wasting the space here.
