continuously reading time index in vro files

Hi....

got an Ellion HMR700a with timeshift function.

timeshifting creates an vro file.
when i try to view this file which is continuously written forward vlc will stop playing after it reaches the initial read endtime of the file.

i am trying to play this file out of a http connection while i linked the timeshift folder of my HMR70a into the webserver root directory.

could anyone fix this?
or how i am going to fix it myself?

greets HelixX23

There is Continuous stream option in HTTP(S) access module that might fix your issue.

Settings -> Preferences and Input / Codecs and Access modules and HTTP(S) and tick the Advanced options box.

If that HTTP option doesn't fix it, you have to code support by yourself.

I haven't seen any patches related to this, but you can naturally test VLC 1.0.0 to check out the current situation
http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win32/?C=M;O=D (branches are 1.0.0)
