Yes, it is a fake, since as usual, they advertise NON-official versions on their website.
The one they are distributing doesn't work correctly.

And i'm don't see any info about beta or stable.

We make some test releases, if they fail on the quality side, we don't announce them. Taking .exe from FTP and annoucing as official when they still are in 0.8.6broken folder is rude AND stupid. But this isn't our fault.
