ONE srt isn't detected automatically

Hello everyone,

I've been using VLC media player for a few months now and I'm very happy with it. Everything has always worked fine up till now, including subtitles. But now I'm having problems with one avi + srt combination. The names are the same, and it works when I drag the srt file onto the player while playing the avi. All other srt files that I have are detected automatically, so I don't think there's anything wrong with my settings.

This isn't a very big problem, of course, and it only bothers me because I like to keep my srt files hidden for neatness. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Any special characters in filename?

yes, it is a Polish movie. The filename is: Dekalog II - Nie będziesz brał imienia Pana Boga swego nadaremno. I've tried replacing the special e and l by normal ones now, but that doesn't seem to do anything.

These filename issues should be hopefully be corrected in Nightly builds.

you can test if you want.
