Snapshot feature stopped working

Postby yayagal250 » 14 Mar 2008 07:16

Up until a couple of days ago, my VLC took snapshots just fine. Suddenly it stopped. There are no snapshots in the folder specified, and the preview, which always showed up whenever I took a shot, has stopped appearing. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing with no success. I downloaded the latest version and installed, but no snapshots. I tested the file on another player (BS player). It grabbed shots fine, so I know it's not my computer. Windows XP, by the way.) I've never had a problem like this before. VLC has always worked great.

Anyone know what could be causing this?

You tried resetting VLC settings?

I had the same problem, so I reset the settings and now everything is working like clockwork again.

If BSPlayer can make snapshots (you did a few right?), then I take it that there is enough disk space right?
