Setting preferences - Audio & Video

I recently downloaded 0.8.6e hoping that I would be able to set the preferences to my likings, for the audio/video..

I got the video set to 16:9 and every new video that opens, now plays this as default setting,

but

the audio always comes up with the select of DISABLED... even though I have it set in the...

settings -> preferences -> audio -> equalizer -> equalizer preset -> Full bass and treble

this problem has existed as far back as I can remember....

is anyone going to fix it??

thanks

no, but is this a problem or bug in the builds...?

because it should work correctly,
as I explained above... right?

---

i just downloaded and installed the last version:

vlc-0.9.0-git-20080312-0240-win32

and its even worse in these 2 areas i described above...

it used to at least save the video aspect,
but now it save neither video or equalizer...

:(

thanks

Equalizer unsaving is a bug. I hope it will be fixed, AFAIK no one has promised anything.
