The new version 0.8.6e DOES NOT START on 98 systems any more. It merely says
" ... uses Unicode, requires XP ..."

And the Unicows files don't help any more. So IMHO the last version running on 98 was 0.8.6d.

Am I right? And if I'm right, methinks the notification for 98 users on the Windows download section should be modified

Yes, and perhaps there should be some notification about it, but in the meantime read this post for instructions how to get it to work:

Thx for your link. Still wondering, what a "widgets library" might be, but I hope it has nothing to do with security.
