VLC AC3 normalization problem

Postby Marino » 17 Jan 2008 17:26

Hi,

since christmas i have my amplifier system (4 powerful 3way analog speakers) connected to my PC (only analog output possible).Because of the non-normalized silent ac3 sounds in dvds i am forced to use the vlc boost but that isnt boosting enough.Dont want to use media player classic or zoom player because of their limitation and problems playing avis with subtitles and so on and so i was starting searching for solutions to get the ffdshow filter to work with vlc. Please, is there any possibility to get ffdshow/ac3filter to work with vlc?

greets
Marino
