Quick Open File

Postby Roxie2401 » 15 Jan 2008 23:34

This may be a simple issue but when I use the "Quick Open File" option, the Open File window opens, but it always opens in the "List" mode. I have all my Windows Explorer windows set to open in the "Details" mode and would like to have the "Open File" window open in the Details format, showing the file creation date, etc.

Is there an option that I have missed that would allow setting which mode (Thumbnails, Tiles, Icons, List, Details) the Open File window appears?

Thanks

VLC version: OVER 9000!!!
Operating System: It's...blue screen
Location: Heaven? No no. What's that other place that starts with an "H"? Oh yes: Home. ^_^

I don't think that this option exists; maybe you could make a ticket asking for it to be added. You'll find the info on creating an account here: Nightly builds - Bugs and Fixes

Hi - thanks for the suggestion. I looked all over and couldn't figure out how to open a bug "Ticket" so I posted it on the "Feature Request" forum. It looks like they have disabled the "Ticket" process for some reason.

Note: you may have to send a PM to either j-b or dionoea informing one of them of your username so that it can be activated.
Sorry if CloudStalker wasn't clear enough. 8)
