Playing DTS via SPDIF wrapped as FLAC

Postby bsw11 » 07 Jan 2008 03:06

Hi,

Does anyone know if this player can play DTS files via Realtek SPDIF output - either as .wav .dts or .flac files? (preferably FLAC)?

I have no problem playing using Zoom Player (other than a hang bug if I manually position). So I know it works - just can't make VLC do it.

Also is there a way to specify the audio output device in VLC instead of using windows default?

Thanks,

Barry

Choose Waveout for audio output module and make sure you have SPDIF enabled. VLC has some bugs so it doesn't work with all the sound cards.
