Streaming marquee

Hi everyone,
Is it possible to stream marquee over a network?
I have set up an http stream and i enabled marquee with text.
When i play it locally i can see the marquee but when i connect from another computer i only get the video without the marquee.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
