How to update VLC's DivX codec

Postby invasi0n » 08 Nov 2007 14:14

Hi,

I just noticed that a Divx/Xvid video looks better in Media Player Classic or WMP11 and I think that's because VLC has an outdated Divx codec. Is there any way to update this codec by myself?

Thanks.

No, VLC uses its own codecs.

You can try nightly builds or enable post processing in VLC (depending if it is a decoding error or divx/xvid decoders post processing).
