Have you tried to demux and mux the video again with tool like TMPGenc (File -> MPEG tools...)?

Transport streams usually mess things up. That is why we have ProjectX at first place =) Windows Media Player doesn't have Transport Stream support by default, so it uses someones else Transport Stream splitter and in this case I guess it is made by CyberLink which seems to handle those Transport Stream files properly. You can use Ctrl + k and Ctrl + l to adjust audio sync in VLC.

I have the exact same problem.

I record from my digital tuners and use the Cyberlink DTV Video decoder. I gave up using VLC for viewing the resulting MPG file as I encountered the same problem as you, and now always use Windows Media Player.

It would be nice to know what the issue was.

Cheers

I tested with that sample and it indeed cause problems with VLC (when seeking). Media Player Classic handles it okay. I am not sure if it is related to VLC architectural choises or is it just a bug. Maybe devs want to comment this?

I have the same problem except with every video. When I pause or seek any video, i lose audio. Have to disable then enable audio to get it working again.

ntshane: you see any errors in Tools -> Messages... (set Verbosity to 2)?
